SS69 Blog Moves to Medouses: A Feminist Editorial Space Led by Women’s Voices
Our blog and editorial section has officially moved to a new dedicated domain: Medouses.com. That means deeper, richer content now lives there, while SS69 stays the go-to place for aesthetic fashion, e-girl vibes, cosplay and all that coolness.
Behind Medouses
Project led by Piter Principi (that’s me), with editorial collaboration from:
Sara Cuscito — dives into symbolism, feminism, media and horror.
Maria Beatrice Quartu — explores history, the surreal, and religion through a cultural lens.
And my own writings (Piter Principi) on aesthetics, media, and myths.
Why Medouses?
It’s where symbols, myths, and independent voices can breathe and riff on culture, power, desire, and coded aesthetics—without compromise.
A journal at the edge that looks behind the stage of reality. We track cultural setups and media scripts — where fiction stops and programming begins.
“Behind the scenes of world affairs… spiritual forces are playing.” — Rudolf Steiner, 1917
Why Medouses is Woman-Centered
Medouses is built around female voices, female knowledge, and female dissent. It is not a neutral space — it is deliberately feminist, dedicated to the power of women speaking through history, culture, and myth.
Our editorial core:
-
Sara Cuscito — Writer and cultural critic (philosophy & communication). Tackles patriarchy, media control, eroticism, and horror.
-
Maria Beatrice Quartu — Criminologist and linguist (Sapienza + Trinity College Dublin). Investigates heresy, sacred feminine, and cultural resistance.
-
Piter Principi — Founder of SS69 and Medouses, author of Miraggio Vivido. While not a woman, he amplifies female perspectives and creates a platform where women lead the discourse.
Medouses is therefore a female-first editorial project, designed to:
-
highlight feminist thought,
-
reframe myths through women’s eyes,
-
recover suppressed histories of female wisdom,
-
open cultural codes to independent, disruptive interpretations.
The name “Medouses” echoes Medusa — no longer monster, but power: silenced women reclaiming the gaze.
